Hello and welcome to the fourth edition of my weekly betting column; making you rich since August 2010! (Well, that's the plan, anyway!)

I was marginally off with my U's shout last week, with the odd goal going against me again…but, this time, in favour of the Blue 'n' Whites!

We should be beating teams like Rochdale if we have any genuine ambitions of a Top Six slot but I would imagine that most fans would have settled for a draw before the start of the game.

To come away with all three points was a real treat…especially as I had long decided to go to the The Oval on the Saturday instead. What a disaster that turned out to be!

This week sees the return to Colchester of Friday Night Football. As a lad I enjoyed these games more than the Saturday ones.

There's always something special about playing under floodlights and, at the old ground, the air was always dense with smoke and optimistic hope.

Looking back, I'm not sure which was worse for me! It's a long old way for Carlisle's team and fans to travel and I'm hoping we can send the Cumbrians back with nothing to show for their efforts.

They have started well and currently sit atop of the early league table.

However, a lot of that is as a result of two home games, which they obviously won. With only one away fixture under their belt, there isn't a lot to go on.

They had a mixed record on the road last season and it will be interesting to see if the U's can carry on with their exciting, attacking play.

I'm confident they can and am going to go for a 2-1 U's win. A lot will depend on how well Mark Cousins can bounce back from his disappointing outing at Sunderland in midweek but I'm sure he'll want a solid performance to put it behind him as soon as possible.

A 2-1 victory for the U's is available to back at 7/1 with Coral.

So, how did we do last week? Actually, very nicely indeed! My weekly highlighted tip saw Torquay overcome established League Two side, Bradford City, by two goals to nil.

For those of you that got involved through Coral's Handicap market, you would have made almost three times your stake in pure profit for one single! Nice work if you can get it!

In the long bets, I advised you not to pick more than six for your accumulator from my selections.

It turned out that I got that in homes alone with Reading and Wycombe both drawing and Gillingham going down 0-1 at home to Lincoln City, which had to go down as one of the shocks of the day.

You can't really legislate for things like that when gambling.

Anyway, this week, things in the Premier League are looking very straight-forward. I know, I know, there's no such thing as an easy game…but can you honestly not see anything other than wins for Man U, Chelsea and Spurs on Saturday?

Happy days, you might think.

Well, not really, as the odds of that treble are a measly 4/6. BUT…do a Handicap treble (giving the away team a goal headstart) and the treble pays out at 12/5.

I'm confident that all three will manage this and this is my weekly highlight. Back it on the Coral Handicap market.

For my long bets, I'm hoping to carry on with the success of last week with the following. Again, I advise you not to pick more than six.

Homes
Blackburn, Chelsea, Tottenham, Man Utd, Millwall, Sheff Utd, Swansea, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Oldham, Cheltenham, Morecambe.

Draws
Leyton Orient, Port Vale.

Aways
Cardiff, Stevenage, Shrewsbury

There are some short priced favourites in the Premier League but what about Blackburn, available to back at 5/1 at Coral? I can't ignore value like that!

Anyway, whatever your bets, I wish you the best of luck. Let's hope the weekend is a cracker, starting off with a 2-1 win for the U's tonight!

Feel Lucky!

Phil
