U's Confirm Squad

Colchester United have registered for his squad for the first half of the season with the Football League.

The U's, along with the other clubs in the League, are subject to rules where they have to name a squad of up to 25 players.

Players aged under 21 at the start of the calendar year in which the season commences do not count in this total (i.e. January 2010 for this season), whilst if the U's were to take any players on 'emergency loans', they would also not count in the 25.

As a result, the U's have been able to name a party of 22 for the first half of the season who fall in line with these rules, with the others exempt from the limit of 25.
