More School Visits For U's Players

Colchester United players have again been heading out around the local area this week as part of our Schools Partnership Programme.

During the course of the coming season, the U's squad will be adopted by a local school and visit them a number of times between now and May.

Following the earlier visits of Marc Tierney and Alan Maybury, John White has subsequently been out to see his new friends at Brinkley Grove School in Highwoods, whilst Magnus Okuonghae has made his first visit this week.

Magnus is going to be a regular visitor to Millfields School in Wivenhoe and was given a Q&A session by the whole school on his arrival on Thursday.

He then helped the reception class and infants through a football session with Colchester United Community Sports Trust coach Tom Gooder, before signing autographs for everyone.

The school had very kindly put together a Welcome Magnus banner and he'll be back to teach the older kids at the school some football skills soon!
