The U's ever popular mascot Eddie the eagle has been busy recently.

Last Friday saw him attend the world famous Cruft's Dog Show, where he spent the day with the Young Kennel Club, (YKC) members.

The YKC caters for dog owners from the age of six up to twenty four and had a host of fun activities that Eddie joined in with, as they celebrated their 25th Anniversary.

After a day's rest, Eddie was at Colchester Rugby Club on Sunday, for a day of fundraising for the Help for Heroes charity.

Following a few games of touch rugby with the younger players, Eddie flew round the one mile sponsored walk, that was set up to raise much needed funds to aid our brave servicemen injured on duty.
