Medy can play on either flank and after a loan spell with Cheltenham, he will be hoping to get more first team action in the coming months as the U's prepare for life in League One.
He has also picked up international honours, having played for the England U17s in a round-robin tournament in Portugal towards the end of the 2006/7 season and represented his country in the FIFA U17s World Cup in Korea in 2008.
