Hugely experienced centre half who joined the U's in the January transfer window after six years at Luton Town.
The Australian born defender headed to Layer Road for a then club record fee and it is hoped that his knowledge of the game will play its part in guiding the U's up the table. Started out at West Ham, but went on to make over 250 appearances for Luton before his recent switch to North Essex.
Chris has also been capped by Australia in their World Cup Qualifiers during his time with the club.
