Colchester United supporters are now able to buy tickets for every single home game this season, following the success of last week's 'Big Four' launch.

The U's originally provided fans with the chance to get their tickets for the biggest games of the season - Southampton, Norwich City, Southend United and Leyton Orient - and after a great response, all home games are now available for pre-purchase.

"We are very keen to provide our supporters with as wide a range of purchase options as possible," Ticket Office Team Leader Alex Hales told the official website.

"In years gone by, we have often had fans asking to buy in advance for fixtures and we are delighted to be able to offer our affordable ticket prices across the season.

"There is something for every pocket at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and, with the team riding high in League One, we are seeing plenty of demand for our tickets this season."

The U's have picked up some great results since Aidy Boothroyd took over as manager and the club are experiencing massive interest in their games on the back of a fine run of form that has lifted them firmly into the play-off race in League One.

The current seasonal average of 5,617 is the highest since 1971 as the town gets behind its team at levels not seen for a generation.

The U's have averaged over 5,000 for the previous three seasons (the first time in 45 years), and look set to break the 6,000 average this season for the first time since that memorable season in 1970/1.

As the U's look to build on the foundations of a hugely successful start to the season, the club are keen to give fans every opportunity to get behind Essex's leading football team.
