Colchester United supporters can get their hands on a whole host of benefits, thanks to the club's most innovative season ticket offer to date.

The U's have enjoyed a superb season under the management of Aidy Boothroyd, and go into the business end of the campaign with a real chance of returning to the Championship.

And chairman Robbie Cowling has today announced a superb season ticket package that not only brings a great value deal to the supporter in the stands, but also gives the team a fantastic chance of further success.

The U's chairman has said many times since taking over as Chairman, that he is determined to bring success to Colchester United and in picking Aidy Boothroyd to manage the team he has made a great start.

Robbie said: "So far the club have enjoyed a great season under Aidy Boothroyd and his team. The Weston Homes Community Stadium has truly become a fortress that visiting teams find difficult to get any points from.

"It's fair to say that the move to Weston Homes Community Stadium has been a challenge for the club and I would like to thank fans for their support and making the journey to the new stadium. I hope they agree the extra effort is worth it!"

In addition to rebuilding the team under Boothroyd and moving to a new stadium, Robbie is now turning his business approach to ticket prices.

The 2009/10 season ticket package sees fans receive a range of additional features over and above their matchday seat.

As well as FIVE games for free, the U's are also offering season ticket holders a free membership to the new look CUFC Plus.

The CUFC Plus membership, which will also be on sale through the two club shops as a product in its own right, will be given to all season ticket holders as a thank you for their support.

Robbie added: "I know that buying a season ticket is a huge investment for fans both in time commitment and financial outlay.

"That's why this year we are including with your season ticket free membership to CUFC Plus."
