With the new season just a week away, the U's have been working hard to ensure that everything is in place for the opening home fixture against Sheffield Wednesday next Saturday.

Recent weeks have seen our Ticket Office telesales team contacting supporters to let them know about this year's pricing structure, particularly the innovative season ticket packages available this time around.

The hard working sales team were joined by chairman Robbie Cowling and popular former player Steve McGavin on Wednesday night.

Robbie and Steve helped with the telephone calls, speaking to supporters about the upcoming campaign and explaining the benefits of this year's fantastic season ticket package.

It proved to be a popular exercise, with Robbie and Steve speaking to a number of fans and encouraging them to get on board for what looks set to be an exciting season under the management of John Ward.

Remember, it's not too late for you to get involved this season.
