Sunderland Date Confirmed

Colchester United will travel to Sunderland next Tuesday, it has been confirmed.

Following extensive discussions between the two sides since the draw was made last Wednesday, the match has now been set to take place on Tuesday, August 24th with a 7.45pm kick-off.

It will be the U's first visit to Sunderland since the 2006/7 season, where they lost 3-1 at the Stadium of Light, before becoming the only team to beat the Black Cats in the league in the second half of that campaign.

Tickets prices for the match are yet to be confirmed, but details will appear on the official website when we get them.
