Colchester United host Carlisle on Friday night as floodlit football returns to the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Friday nights have always been a key part of the U's history and the club are keen to give supporters the chance to start the weekend with a bang with a game against the Cumbrians.

With John Ward's men having started the season in fine fettle, Friday night will be a cracking fixture against a Carlisle side that have started the season with two wins and a draw.

Friday football means your Saturday is free to take in more action over the weekend - or to do those much needed jobs around the house!

Tickets are on sale now for the Carlisle game - and remember, if you buy by 5pm on Thursday, then you'll save £2 on the matchday price!
