Young centre half who was the captain and a mainstay in the youth team's league and cup success in the 2013/14 season. Played regularly in the U21s and made his U’s first team debut on the final day of the 13/14 campaign at Walsall. Frankie established himself as a genuine first team contender in 2014/15 and regularly partnered Tom Eastman before injury cut his campaign short.
He made his real breakthrough in the 2015/16 season, and his performances were acknowledged as he received the Young Player of the Year vote at the end of the season.
That good form continued into 2016/17, as he picked up the EFL Young Player of the Month for December, but his season was again cut short in February 2017 with an ankle injury.
