Magnus quickly became a fans' favourite at the Weston Homes Community Stadium and he has been a regular on the teamsheet during his time at Colchester United.

An all action defender, Magnus looked like he might be leaving the U's in the summer of 2012 but decided the club was the place he wanted to be and penned a new three year deal ahead of the start of the 2012/13 season.
