Covid 19 Safe Return To Learning

1 September 2020

COVID-19 Education update from Colchester United's Football in the Community scheme.

As of Thursday 3rd September 2020, Colchester United Football in the Community will return to partner schools to deliver curricular and extra-curricular activities once again, within our Safe Return to Learning approach.

Things of course are not as they once were and will look a little different on our return to schools, however we’ve implemented positive change and adapted our delivery procedures to ensure we are safeguarding against COVID-19.

Please read our Safe Return to Learning Document

The changes to our procedures will be implemented alongside schools own risk assessments, policies and procedures to ensure a safe and positive learning environment is maintained for pupils and staff.

It is our upmost priority to continue to provide educational opportunities to our partner schools including programmes such as Premier League Primary Stars, Joy of Moving and Game Changers, to ensure pupils, teachers and schools can continue to benefit educationally, physically, psychological and socially from our work with them.

Please see four key steps that have been taken below to ensure everyone’s safety during our return to school:
