Cameron joined the U's on an initial six-month loan from National League side Solihull Moors ahead of the 2021/22 Sky Bet League Two Season.
The Welsh Under 21 international began his career at Cardiff City, staying at his boyhood club for over ten years.
Making five appearances for the Bluebirds, Cameron was released in the summer of 2020, joining Solihull Moors in the National League, making thirty appearances in all competitions before completing his loan move to the U's in 2021.
Coxe joined Colchester United on a permanent basis in January 2022 after a successful first half of the season with the club.
