Connor Wood has joined the U's on loan until the end of the season from Leyton Orient.
Connor was an important player for the O's last season, however has struggled to get much game time for them in this campaign, playing only in the cup competitions.
He was Matt Bloomfield's first addition to the squad in the January transfer window and made his debut for the U's in a sixteen minute cameo in our 3-1 victory away at Harrogate Town.
Before moving to Leyton Orient, Connor was at Bradford City, he managed 115 appearances for the side scoring three times.
The tenacious full-back adds depth to the defence and will be an important addition to Matt's side for the remainder of the 2022/23 season.
