Ryan has been with the U's since he was eight years old, coming through the club’s Development Centre and Academy.
Clampin spent a season on loan at Maldon & Tiptree, and was an almost ever present for the Jammers – scoring ten goals in forty-one appearances.
He made his first team debut as a substitute in September 2018, but had to wait almost a year for his full league debut, starting against Cambridge at the start of the 2019/20 season, going on to make seventeen appearances in that first campaign with the senior squad.
Ryan has now made over fifty appearances for the club, scoring two memorable goals against Ipswich Town in the EFL Trophy, and against Walsall in Sky Bet League Two.
