Tom Dallison joined the U's as the first January signing of 2022, signing a two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
Dallison was on the books at West Ham and Arsenal in his youth career, before spening five years at Brighton between 2013 and 2018.
Short loan spells away from the Seagulls gave him his Football League debut with Crawley Town in 2015, with other loan spells at Cambridge United and Accrington Stanley.
Leaving Brighton in 2018, Dallison moved north of the border to join Scottish Championship side Falkirk for half a season before re-joining Crawley Town on a permanent basis in 2019.
With almost 100 appearances in Sussex for Crawley, Dallison opted to join Colchester United for an undisclosed fee in January 2022.
