Dave Huzzey was named as part of Ben Garner's management team following the 2022/23 season.
Huzzey had been working with the U23s as the Academy Manager at the club and joined Wayne Brown initially during his interim period in charge of the club through the second half of the 2021/22 season.
Promoted to the first team at the start of the 2022/23 season, Huzzey moved to the U21 Lead Coach role after Brown's departure, returning to the first team when Ben Garner arrived at the club in March.
His position within the first team was made permanent in June 2023.
Dave's background is with Southend United, but joined the U's in 2019, and has helped to oversee progression of youngsters through the academy and into the First Team.
