Jake came through the youth system with the club, first being included in a matchday squad on the road at Morecambe in 2020.
The forward has excelled at youth levels, but has been made to wait for his chance at first team level, with opportunities limited with the U's.
Jake had a positive spell with Eastbourne Borough in the first half of the 2022/23 season, netting fourteen goals on the South Coast. He earned a positive loan move to Aldershot Town for the second half of the season with the National League side.
