Young forward Tom Stagg became the eighth Colchester United academy product to make his debut in the 2020/21 season.
Coming on for the final ten minutes of the U's final game of the season, Stagg made his professional debut for the club on the road at Tranmere, with the eighteen-year-old replacing Frank Nouble.
Stagg had been a prolific goalscorer for both the under 18 and under 23 side netting goals in FA Youth Cup as the U's made it to the third round.
