Colchester United will look to build on their bright start to the season when they travel to take on Cheltenham Town in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night.
Four points and two clean sheets have got the U's off to a good start in the first week of the new campaign, and they will be aiming to build on that when they take on the Robins in the First Round game.
The match will see an early return to Gloucestershire for midfielder Harry Pell who signed for the U's from Cheltenham in the summer.
The home side will be looking to notch their first win of the season, having lost their two opening games 1-0 to Crawley and Tranmere.
Speaking to the Robins' official website, boss Gary Johnson said: "The players all have ability and we all see that in training. It’s a shame for our supporters who made that horrendous journey up there that we still haven’t seen the best of most of them.
“We have seen little bits and I thought Jacob Maddox had a fantastic second half at Tranmere, Johnny Mullins was an absolute warrior and Scott Flinders was magnificent.
“But we have to get some of the others doing a little bit more towards the ability they have.
“I know they have, but the supporters haven’t seen it yet. I hope to show it to them very soon. The lads have to show what their ‘X-factor’ is and show it in games.”
