4 October 2012

'Girls allowed' at the U's!

No! Cheryl Cole and Sarah Harding aren't coming to the Weston Homes.

Colchester United Community Sports Trust will be running the biggest female football holiday course in Colchester and its surrounding areas this October with the Girls Allowed October Half Term course exclusive to young ladies in the area.
The CUCST Female Academy at Thurstable School is currently the most successful academy in England and Colchester United Ladies FC are currently 'Essex Womens Cup' holders.

Colchester United Ladies FC has had a large amount of success in its past with players such as Kate Longhurst, Maegan Doyle and Emily Heaslip going on to represent their country.
Players will also be given the opportunity to meet current Colchester United Ladies FC players who will be on hand to answer questions and give strong advice for players' development.

The 'Girls Allowed' holiday course will allow players to be coached by UEFA Licensed Colchester United Coaches using first class equipment in quality facilities.

There are also opportunities for players to progress onto the FA Centre of Excellence and Player Development Programmes allowing you the opportunity to be Colchester United’s next International representative!

The course will run October 29th-31st from 10am to 3pm at Shrub End Community & Sports Centre, Boadicea Way, Colchester CO2 9BG costing only £30 for the full course.
The 'Female Advanced Coaching Programme' will run for seven weeks and offers the same as the 'Girls Allowed' holiday course but in weekly blocks.

In addition to this, the U's Trust will be starting up a new term time activity from the 5th November 2012.

The 'Female Advanced Coaching Programme' will run on Mondays from 4.30-6.00 once again at Shrub End Community & Sports Centre. Starting as advertised above on the 5th November 2012.
