Heath Misses Out

19 October 2012

Hamstring injury rules out defender.

The U's will be without Matt Heath for this weekend's game against Carlisle United, after the centre half injured his hamstring in the midweek reserve team win over West Ham.

Matt's injury is not as bad as first feared, but the experienced defender will not be available to manager Joe Dunne.

Joe has had Matt on the bench as cover for his chosen duo of Magnus Okuonghae and Tom Eastman in his first four league games and the pair are likely to continue this weekend against the Cumbrians.

John White will continue to provide defensive back-up if required, as the U's look to make it four wins in five in the league under Joe's management.

After that win against the Hammers, Alex Gilbey, Drey Wright, Jordan Sanderson and Bradley Hamilton have all been included for the weekend fixture, but the game comes too soon for John-Joe O'Toole and Kem Izzet.

Clinton Morrison serves the second game of his three game suspension.

U's: Cousins, Pentney, Rose, Okuonghae, Duguid, Sears, Ibehre, Bean, Henderson, Eastman, Wilson, Massey, Wordsworth, White, Gilbey, Wright, Hamilton, Sanderson, Watt, Eastmond
