Charity abseil for Steve Goodsell.
Sports trust Chief Executive Steve Goodsell will be facing his fear this weekend."The Teenage Cancer Trust is such a great organisation and hopefully, this event can raise plenty of money for them."
"I'm still not sure how I got roped into it, no pun intended, but I'm sure it will be OK once I'm up there...as long as I don't look down.
He said: "My partner and some friends work for the Voluntary Services in Southend and knowing I was scared of heights, asked me if I wanted to conquer it.
While he is keen to support such a worthy cause, there was still some apprehension when he announced his plans.
He will be abseiling down Essex House in Southend, hoping to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Steve will be abseiling twelve storeys, approx 400 feet, with the event taking place on Saturday 6th October.
