U's midfielder joins Crewe on loan.
After Thursday's flurry of transfer news, things have continued on Friday ahead of the weekend game against Hartlepool United.
U's midfielder Andy Bond has headed north, joining fellow League One side Crewe Alexandra on a month's loan.
He was up at Crewe on Friday to sign the paperwork and, subject to clearance from the relevant authorities, he will be in their squad for the game at MK Dons.
Since arriving at the U's in the summer of from Blue Square North side Barrow, he has gone on to make 96 appearances in all competitions, scoring 12 goals.
As part of his loan deal, he does have clearance in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy.
