Boss Helps Charity Launch

19 September 2012

New store in Clacton opened by John.

Ahead of Colchester United's midweek draw with Crawley Town, U's boss John Ward headed to the coast to cut the ribbon of a brand new Clacton-on-Sea charity shop.

The national deafblind charity Sense has set up a new store on the High Street of Clacton-on-Sea and the U's manager was the chosen guest to get the charity up and running.
So pop along to the store, we're sure they'd be pleased to see you!

"Now we're open, we are appealing for volunteers to help out who might have some spare time as well as any donations of books, music, clothes, shoes, household ornaments, small electrical appliances and pieces of furniture.”

According to Kym Metcalf, Shop Manager: “We were so excited about having John to open our new shop in Clacton.
