Footballers from Baynards School in Tiptree were our guests of honour at Monday night's U21s game against Ipswich Town.
Baynards is the school nearest to the U's new training ground at Florence Park and many of the pupils come to watch games at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Ahead of the match against Ipswich's U21s, we invited the Baynards football team to come and enjoy a stadium tour at the Weston Homes, before being taken for a coaching session on the astroturf pitches.
And, after that run around, they were then drafted in to provide a guard of honour for the two teams ahead of Monday night's Category Two fixture.
We hope the pupils had a good night and we look forward to doing more with them in the future!
