Eastman Scores On Return

12 April 2013

But U21s lose to Seagulls

The U's U21s have lost 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tom Eastman's thirty five yard strike sandwiched the two goals for the Seagulls in the game at Florence Park.

Yaser Kasim had put Brighton ahead in the fourth minute but Eastman equalised to make the half time scores level.

In a second half dominated by Richard Hall's young side, the visitors broke away to snatch a winner through Toby Agdestein.

Hall was disappointed with the result but not with the performance of his side.

He told the official website: "I am very pleased with how the lads played and I was disappointed for them more than anything that they didn't turn the performance into a win."

"We started slowly but dominated the game for about seventy five minutes."

Eastman was playing his first game since injuring his ankle and Hall praised the centre half.

"Tom did very well in the forty five minutes he played and topped things off with an amazing strike for his goal.

"Hopefully, he will get an hour or more under his belt in the game on Monday and it's great to see him back in action."
