U's defender Tom Eastman is set to return to match action on Friday, as he continues his quest for fitness.
The current Young Player of the Year has been out of action since limping off with an ankle injury early in the game against Crewe at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
But he will be in action on Friday lunchtime in the U's latest U21s fixture.
Richard Hall's men take on Brighton in a rearranged fixture, which kicks off at 12.30pm at Florence Park.
It's the first of a double header for the U21s, who also take on QPR at the U's training ground on Monday, in a 1pm kick-off.
