U's mascot enjoys Easter party.
U's fluffy mascot Eddie the Eagle had a great time at his weekend Easter Party with young fans at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The kids enjoyed a host of great activities and had the surprise of eleven first team players turning up for photos and autographs during the course of the afternoon to help make their day!
"On Saturday morning, you Junior U’s attended the Weston Homes Community Stadium for our annual Easter Party!
Eddie said: "After a busy weekend of football it would be easy to forget any other events that took place, but fortunately this is not the case when it came to my Easter Eggstravaganza.

"A very special moment for everyone was when the whole first team who had been involved in the match against AFC Bournemouth a day previous popped up to wish all the Junior U’s a happy Easter as well as answering all the questions we had!
"We had a fantastic time with lots of activities from Egg and Spoon races, Easter Egg designing to the big Easter Egg Hunt to seal the afternoon!

Junior U's has reached its highest total of members this year - at nearly 800 - so it has been a very successful spell for Eddie the Eagle.
