Colchester United's Essex rivals Southend United have edged our Movember fundraising challenge - but the cancer charity has ended up being the real winner in the Battle of the Mos.
Throughout the course of November, the U's and Shrimpers went head to head in a fundraising quest for Movember.
U's midfielder David Wright and Southend defender John White set about growing their moustaches, whilst fans of both sides donated much appreciated funds.
And, in a tough battle last month, John’s cause raised £899, while David raised £678 meaning in total nearly £1,600 was raised for Movember.
