U's Wait On Wilson

15 February 2013

Right back in quest for fitness.

U's full back Brian Wilson will attempt to shake off an ankle injury ahead of the trip to Bramall Lane this weekend.

Brian - who made his hundredth U's appearance in the game against Swindon - was substituted in the win over Preston last Saturday, but will hope to be fit in time for the match against Sheffield United.

The U's have, however, got the boost of having new defender Bradley Garmston in the squad for the game in Yorkshire, with the West Brom youngster hoping to make his Football League debut this weekend.

Otherwise, it's as you were for the U's, who have had the luxury of a settled side in recent weeks as they look to lift themselves away from the foot of the League One table.

Mark Cousins continues to miss out with his hand injury, whilst Kem Izzet is making steady progress from the ankle injury that has ruled him out in recent weeks.

U's: Walker, Phillips, Okuonghae, White, Wilson, Garmston, Thompson, Heath, Eastman, Bond, Bean, Clifford, David Wright, Gilbey, Porter, Sears, Drey Wright, Compton, Ibehre, Morrison, Massey
