Brian Wilson is back in contention for a U's return, having been named in the weekend squad for the game against Tranmere Rovers.
Brian, who recently completed 100 league appearances for the U's, missed last week's defeat at Sheffield United due to an ankle injury.
However, he has been back in training this week and will be pushing full backs Bradley Garmston and John White for a place in the team.
Should Bradley retain his place, he'll make his home debut, whilst John will be looking to consolidate his place in the top twenty-five league appearance makers for the U's.
Meanwhile, at the back, Mark Cousins is also back in the squad after returning from the hand injury that has ruled him out in recent weeks.
Otherwise, the U's are unchanged for the visit of Rovers as they look to make it four wins in six and climb back out of the bottom four.
