Former U's defender Tom Aldred has signed for Accrington Stanley.
Tom, who did not make a first team appearance in his two years at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, has penned a deal until the end of the season with the League Two side.
Stanley currently sit three points above the drop zone in that division and Tom will be hoping to keep the Lancashire side away from trouble, with former U's boss John Ward's Bristol Rovers one of the sides chasing them.
