The U's match against Walsall looks set to go ahead on Saturday as improving temperatures and a bit of elbow grease has helped clear the pitch of overnight snow.
Fans were on the pitch since 9am this morning to clear the playing surface, and they were also assisted by a steady thaw thanks to rising temperatures.
Assistant boss Mark Kinsella also gave a helping hand to the 50 or so fans who are working hard to prepare the pitch for the match.
The playing surface is soft and the team are now gearing themselves up for the 3pm kick-off.
