Thousands flock to U's annual event.
Colchester United's Open Day was once again a roaring success on Sunday, as thousands of people from across the local area flocked to the Weston Homes Community Stadium to enjoy a day in the sun.
The U's players were popular figures during the course of the day and, during the signing session, signed well over 1,000 autographs each as they met their loyal supporters.
There was a whole host of exciting activities on offer during the day, with zumba, live music, martial arts and inflatable fun available for those who turned up to be a part of a fantastic afternoon.
The U's Football in the Community programme got to meet kids of all ages, with nearly 60 children playing football together on one of the two Astroturf pitches at one stage.
