The new U's U18s were put under the spotlight on Tuesday morning, as they were given their first taste of interactions with the media, now that they're at the club full time.
Our new first years got to meet Glenn Speller of BBC Essex and Jon Waldron of the Daily Gazette as they explained the background to their job and the expectations they have of footballers when it comes to interviews.
The lads also got to interview each other, ensuring that they avoided the pitfalls that might be in the way and how to conduct themselves in the public spotlight.
