No First Round bye for Joe's men.
Colchester United have missed out on a bye for the First Round of this year's Johnstone's Paints Trophy and will discover their opponents in August.The draw will be made on Saturday, August 17th - when the U's are at Sheffield United - on Soccer AM.
First Round ties will be played during the week commencing Monday, September 2nd.
Southern Section - East
AFC Wimbledon, Brentford, Colchester United, Dagenham & Redbridge, Gillingham, Leyton Orient, Milton Keynes Dons and Northampton Town.
Southern Section - West
Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham Town, Exeter City, Plymouth Argyle, Portsmouth, Torquay United and Wycombe Wanderers.
Northern Section - East
Bradford City, Burton Albion, Hartlepool United, Notts County, Scunthorpe United, Sheffield United, Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Northern Section - West
Accrington Stanley, Bury, Crewe Alexandra, Fleetwood Town, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town and Tranmere Rovers.
