U21s face neighbours in friendly fixture.
Colchester United will take a side to Ipswich Town's training ground on Tuesday afternoon in their latest friendly match.
Whilst predominantly an U21s fixture, the match will also allow Joe Dunne to give a number of senior players further match minutes ahead of Saturday's season opener against Gillingham.
Danny Pappoe, Josh Thompson, Brian Wilson, Craig Eastmond and Andy Bond will all face Town with that first match now only days away.
Otherwise, the team will be made up of those players who regularly featured for the U's U21s last season.
