The draw will take place at 9.30am on Monday 17th June.There could still be a long journey possible for the U's, with last year's opponents Yeovil Town included in the South's seeded teams.
It throws up the possibility of East Anglian derbies against Ipswich Town, Peterborough United from the Championship, or MK Dons who finished eighth in League one.
With the U's avoiding relegation on the final day of the campaign, they will be unseeded and will have to play a side that finished either in the Championship or the top half of League One.
Clubs have been seeded based on the finishing positions in 2012/13 and then split regionally, North and South.
The U's potential opponents in the Capital One Cup have been narrowed down.
