Karl Duguid selects his top home games.
Season Ticket sales have continued to be positive, with fans itching to get started with the 2013/14 season under boss Joe Dunne.About 80% of current sales have been full Season Tickets but, with the fixture list now out, we're starting to see fans getting on board with their Six and Twelve Game packs.
Don't forget, our Six and Twelve Game packs allow you to select the matches that suit you during the season, whilst also getting the benefits of being a Season Ticket holder.
With the new season drawing closer, we've been asking the U's players to select their own Six Game Packs and first up is player/coach Karl Duguid.
My Six Pack: Karl Duguid
Like many people, this was the first game that I was looking out for when the fixtures came out. Wolves will fancy their chances of getting out of this division at the first time of asking and have an excellent boss in Kenny Jackett. But we've shown over the years that we like taking on the bigger sides, so this will be a good game in front of one of our biggest gates of the season. Wolverhampton Wanderers (October 5th)
Given the amount of miles that fans have to travel over a season, the local games are always popular ones and they'll bring plenty of fans down. We've had some really interesting battles with Peterborough over the years and Darren Ferguson gets them playing some good football. They'll be top six contenders this year and it's sure to be an entertaining match. Peterborough United (October 26th)
Another local match and one against a side who have tended to have the edge over us in recent seasons. Joe showed last season how he wanted us to play fast and attractive football and the Dons are of a similar mindset, so it will be an interesting clash. MK Dons (November 26th)
Stevenage (December 26th)
This game has caught my eye for a number of reasons, really. Even though I have been at Colchester for many years, I was based in Hitchin for many of those, so Stevenage is a local club for me. It's also a Boxing Day fixture and matches over the Christmas period always have a little bit extra about them. The Blades are another side who have had the better of us in the last couple of seasons, particularly at Bramall Lane. The games at home have been closer affairs and with the firepower we have in the side, I think we will give them a really good test this year. They've got a new man in charge and it will be interesting to see how they play this season but, as in every year, promotion will be their aim from the first kick of the season.
Sheffield United (January 25th)

A rare Tuesday night game for us this season. We like the floodlight games as much as the fans and so we'll be looking forward to this one. It'll also see Phil Parkinson returning to his former club and it will be a competitive game, both on and off the pitch! Bradford City (March 11th)
