Doing It For Tommy's.

18 March 2013

Graham's weekend fundraising effort.

Big football fan Graham Bramwell, 24, who has previously run the Royal Parks Half Marathon, will be donning his running shoes once again for Tommy’s in April – this time for the London Marathon.

Not only has he had to battle sleet and snow during winter training but he’s been busy hosting various fundraising events,  like a quiz night and football ground collections. In total, he hopes to raise £3,000 for Tommy’s.

Graham told the official website why it’s his charity of choice: ‘It’s a great cause which offers help and support to those who need it. Every one of us could have been affected by the issues they research and aim to prevent so it’s natural to have an affinity towards Tommy’s."

As a lifelong fan of football, Graham is keen to get involved in their annual Charity Day. He’ll be running to the Colchester Vs MK Dons game from Hatfield Peverel, a distance of 20 miles. Perfect preparation for the big day in April!

If you would like to help Graham collect for charity from 1:30pm on Saturday 23rd March, email grezza31@hotmail.com with your full name and contact details – volunteers will be given a match ticket.
