Drey has been a regular in the U's first team this season, making seventeen appearances in all competitions.
The wide man was shortlisted for the League One Apprentice of the Year award earlier this year and will go up against Luke James of Hartlepool and George Willis of Sheffield United.
U's winger Drey Wright will head to London on Sunday for the Football League Awards.
