U's mascot makes series of visits.
U's mascot Eddie the Eagle was a busy boy during Comic Relief, as he supported activities across the local area.
First up was a visit to Colchester Institute, where he helped students with a fundraising tuck shop before venturing around campus with a collection tin to encourage donations to the national charity.
The next day, and it was a trip to Elmstead Market, to visit the pupils of Market Field School. He grabbed a whistle and helped to referee a game between two sets of pupils, before taking his turn in goal to face penalties.
A quick scrub down of his muddy boots and he was off to Sudbury, to visit the Sainsbury's store in the town.
There, he encouraged children to take a go on his Target Shot game for a small donation to Comic Relief, as well as taking part in a flashmob with the Sainsbury's staff, which you can see on YouTube HERE.
