U's find out opponents in mid-June.
The U's will discover their first Capital One Cup opponents in mid-June, just before the full fixture list comes out.The draw for the First Round of the competition will be made on the morning of Monday 17th June - a couple of days before the U's also find out their League One opponents for the new campaign.
The two highest placed relegated clubs from the Premier League will be seeded though to Round 2 (Reading) and Round 3 (Wigan Athletic).
The draw, which will be both seeded based on last season’s league tables, and also regionalised, will consist of 70 Football League clubs.

50 clubs (35 Winners, 1 Championship, 14 Premier League non-European clubs).Round 2:
