Craig pleased to join U's and be reunited with team-mates.

And he believes that the close family-like feel was a key factor in getting him to join the Weston Homes Community Stadium side.

Craig will become an official U's player this summer when his contract at Arsenal expires.

U's midfielder Craig Eastmond believes the tight-knit feel around the club was a big part in convincing him to sign for the club on a permanent basis.

He told the official website: "I enjoyed my time here on loan and now I just want to carry on where I left off. This is a place that feels good to me and one that has made me feel part of a family.

You want to feel happy as a footballer with your friends, team-mates and manager, and that’s the case here. I like the manager’s style of play and my main attribute is getting on the ball, so it is good for me.

"I am of an age where I want to play week in, week out and I think I can do that here in the next step of my career."

Craig’s move will be completed subject to paperwork clearance from the relevant authorities.
