The Direct Debit payment plan allows you to spread the cost, requiring only one third of your total Season Ticket cost up front as a deposit, with the remainder paid over a period of up to nine months How does it work?
It means that watching the U's becomes a very affordable pastime and fits in with the rest of your spending habits!
And Colchester United supporters can do just the same - paying for a full Season Ticket over nine payments with only a small 5% admin charge added on.
When it comes to working out our monthly costs, such as mobile phone bills and car insurance, most of us will pay for things by Direct Debit on a month by month basis.
Did you know you can pay for your Season Ticket by Direct Debit and spread the cost into smaller chunks?
If a payment plan is used to purchase a Full Season Ticket after 14th
August, then your deposit will also have to include the August 2013
payment.
If you're looking to get on board with a 12 Game Pack then, once again, you will need to pay a third of the total cost up front, and the remaining two thirds will be taken in four equal payments in
the following four
months.
Finally, if it's a 6 Game Pack that takes your fancy, the same up front cost of one third of the total applies, then the rest will be spread over two further payments in the subsequent months.
How about some examples?
Most months will involve at least two home games, with 23 to be played between the start of August and the start of May. So our Season Tickets represent great value - and below we detail some examples of how much it'd cost you.
One of the most popular purchases with the Direct Debit payments so far has been a
South Stand - Adult, full Season TicketSouth Stand adult Season Ticket.
As a one off payment, it would be £322 but, with the small admin charge added on, it's a total cost of £338.10.
This would require a deposit of £112.70, followed by eight monthly payments of £28.18.
Family Enclosure (E8) - Adult and child in U14s age bracket, full Season Ticket
The combined cost of the Adult and a child that qualifies for an U14s Season Ticket is £424 and, with the admin charge applied, £445.20.
This would require a deposit of £148.40, with eight further monthly payments of £37.10.
West Stand (W2 or W8) - Senior, full Season Ticket
The cost of this Season Ticket as a one off payment would be £288 and, with the admin charge applied, £302.40.
That means an up front deposit of £100.80, with eight further monthly payments of £25.20.
