DMC Are On The Ball

3 October 2013

Long standing sponsors back the U's.

Saturday's game against Wolverhampton Wanderers will see one of the U's longest standing friends take the Matchball Sponsorship.

Ian Davey and Graham Bridge of DMC Consultancy have been strong supporters of the club in recent years, as regular player kit sponsors and sponsors of awards at the Player of the Year dinners.

And they were one of the first to commit to sponsorship at the U's 2013/14 fixtures when the matches were confirmed, getting on board as Wolves Matchball Sponsors way back in July.

"We are really looking forward to Saturday's game and to entertaining some valued clients in the process, for some of whom it will be their first experience at the Weston Homes Community Stadium," Ian told the official website.

"It will be great to see what was formerly a top division side visiting and to see the ground close to full with a great atmosphere.

"We have always enjoyed these sorts of experiences in the past, whether it be our regular sponsorship at the Player of the Year Awards or simply entertaining clients - the food and hospitality in general has always been first class."

It will be a tough test for the U's against a Wolves side flying high in the table, with Kenny Jackett's side yet to lose on the road in 2013/14.

Looking ahead to the game, Ian said: "I think that it could well be a draw, Wolves seem to be winning most of their matches by the odd goal and the U’s have a habit of drawing so I’m going for 1-1."
