U's Await Wolves Visit

4 October 2013

Boss still without a number of players.

The U's take on Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, ready to take on a side who are yet to lose away from home this season.

Boss Joe Dunne is still contending with a number of injury and illness absentees, but has the majority of the squad that have picked up three useful draws despite those missing players.

Jeffrey Monakana left the pitch early in the game against Bristol City seven days ago, but is available for selection for this weekend's fixture.

He, Matt Taylor and Luke Garbutt are all likely to be involved against Kenny Jackett's Wolves and Joe has already expressed an interest in extending the trio's loan spells with the U's with their initial months due to expire in the next couple of weeks.

Mark Cousins will be absent again, however, still suffering from a bruised foot picked up in the recent U21s game against Crystal Palace.
